The doctor did find a placque build up in the left carotid artery and in the left leg just below the knee. What are they going to do about it? Nothing at this time. The doctor said that the build up is not bad enough yet to take the risk of doing a catheterization. Basically, at this time, the risks outweigh the benefits. But, Dad is to keep a watch on his foot and, if sores develop, he is to call the doctor right away. Although tired, Mom and Dad both seemed to be handling this news well, at this time.
